Below are the bios of prospective Board Members for 2022. Please, chose six:
Brent Uilenberg, 2038 Wrangler Court – Currently on the Board. I have been a resident of the Independence Ranch subdivision since 1999. I have previously served on the HOA Board of Directors for 3 years in the early 2000’s and most recently for an additional 3 years beginning in 2017.
Doug Eury, 2040 Wrangler Court – Currently on the Board. My wife, Lynn, and I are retired and have lived in Independence Ranch for three and a half years. We are happy to be in this neighborhood, after looking at many options before we moved here in 2017. Before we retired, I worked for the National Park service and
served as the Park Superintendent in several national park sites. In each of the Park assignments I managed multi-million-dollar budgets. These included administration, planning, construction, maintenance, and preservation of the built and natural resources.
Kevin Price, 703 Roundup Dr– – Currently on the Board. I moved to Grand Junction in 1997 to attend Mesa State, BBA in Economics. I’ve been a Financial Advisor since 2002 and opened my own firm, Insight Financial Solutions, in 2007.
We have lived in Independence Ranch since 2014 and I’ve been the Treasurer since 2017. I look forward to continuing to serve our neighborhood in this role.
Larry Stohler, 2035 Wrangler Court– Currently on the Board. My wife Jennifer and I moved into the area in November of 2019.I have lived in Grand Junction since 1973 working in Energy construction for the last 30 years. I am retired and enjoy hunting, fishing and river running.
Matt Collins, 706 Roundup Dr.- Currently on the Board. Matt has lived in Independence Ranch (IR) since 1999. He previously served on the IRHOA board from 2002-2016. He holds an MBA and CPA. The reason he is again volunteering for the board is to assist in maintaining our premier community status and home values. In addition, it is important for continuity that we have a board member with the historical background and knowledge of the community.
Rick Nelson, 2075 Raindance Ct – Currently on the Board. My better half, Michelle and I, have been part of Independent Ranch for over two years and love this neighborhood. Prior, we lived in the Seasons where I volunteered and served on the HOA board as president. We are empty nesters, blessed with three amazing grandchildren and two puppies.
