Below are the bios for the 2023 Board Members
Cameron Patterson, 707 Roundup Dr – A little over two years ago, my family and I had the opportunity of becoming a part of the Independence Ranch community of homeowners. As an employee of the Grand Junction VA Medical Center, I have the pleasure of serving our Nation’s heroes every day, and I am honored to live in a neighborhood that showcases our community’s proud sense of patriotism. My wife, two children, and I have loved getting to know many of our neighbors, thus making our neighborhood not only a home but a place to establish roots. It is a privilege to serve on the Independence Ranch HOA Board, which strives to ensure that our wonderful community continues to thrive and remain the premier neighborhood in the Grand Valley.
Larry Stohler, 2035 Wrangler Court– Currently on the Board. My wife Jennifer and I moved into the area in November of 2019.I have lived in Grand Junction since 1973 working in Energy construction for the last 30 years. I am retired and enjoy hunting, fishing and river running.
Matt Collins, 706 Roundup Dr.- Currently on the Board. Matt has lived in Independence Ranch (IR) since 1999. He previously served on the IRHOA board from 2002-2016. He holds an MBA and CPA. The reason he is again volunteering for the board is to assist in maintaining our premier community status and home values. In addition, it is important for continuity that we have a board member with the historical background and knowledge of the community.
Rick Nelson, 2075 Raindance Ct – Currently on the Board. My better half, Michelle and I, have been part of Independence Ranch for over two years and love this neighborhood. Prior, we lived in the Seasons where I volunteered and served on the HOA board as president. We are empty nesters, blessed with three amazing grandchildren and two puppies.
Kyle Lottman, 2054 Baseline Dr – Currently on the Board. I moved to Independence Ranch in September of 2022 with my wife Rachel. We have a mini-Aussie named Ruby. The strong sense of community is what sold us on moving to Independence Ranch and it has been wonderful living here. Involvement with the HOA appealed to me as a great way to meet others in our neighborhood and find ways to keep supporting the community we love. Rachel is an OR Nurse at Community Hospital and I work as a financial advisor with Elevate Capital Advisors.
Robbie Koos, Wrangler Court – Currently on the Board. I have been a GJ resident for 35 years. My husband and I built our home on Wrangler Court in 1998 where we raised our two youngest children. I have been a licensed Realtor for 21 years and have been active in the community serving on various boards. My interest in running for the HOA board is ensuring property values, maintaining HOA covenants while respecting homeowners’ property rights, continued transparency with HOA monies, to encourage a neighborhood effort for the safety of our children at play in our neighborhood streets and parks, and to encourage all our homeowners to be mindful of security efforts in their neighborhood. I would like to help keep Independence Ranch Subdivision a well sought after place to live.
